About the role
As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles
- Monitor and document client progress
- Collaborate with a supportive team to provide consistent care
- Adapt therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each child
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and strategies
Requirements
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- State-specific RBT requirements (see above)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children with autism
- Experience with ABA therapy is not required; paid training will be provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to making a difference

Physical Requirements
- Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
- Move quickly in response to client needs
- Change physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling
- Maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients
Location
This role is available in multiple locations across the United States, including but not limited to Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Northern California, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
