About the role
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles
- Monitor and document client progress
- Collaborate with a supportive team to provide comprehensive care
- Adapt therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each child
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- State-specific RBT requirements (see below)

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with children
- Passionate about helping individuals with autism
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies

State-Specific RBT Requirements
- Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina: RBT required within 90 days of hire
- Northern California, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia: RBT required before working with clients
- Massachusetts, New Hampshire: RBT required before working with clients (no grace period)
