About the role
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized ABA therapy sessions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a supportive team aligned with Trellis' values
- Track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Support children's learning, growth, and independence
Requirements
- At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- State-specific RBT requirements (see below)

- Experience not required
- Paid training in ABA therapy provided

Physical Requirements
- Variety of physical requirements based on specific client assignments
- Expected to be able to complete all physical requirements of the position either with or without a reasonable accommodation
- May involve pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds and moving quickly in response to client needs
- Maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to support a safe environment
State-Specific RBT Requirements
- Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina: RBT required before working with clients
- Northern California, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia: RBT required within 90 days of hire
- Massachusetts, New Hampshire: RBT required for candidates without a bachelor’s degree
