Behavior Technician
About The Role
The ABA Technician is responsible for providing one-to-one or small group treatment interventions to consumers in home and/or community settings under the direction of the BCBA and Senior BCBA on their team. This role focuses on delivering direct behavioral support services to improve outcomes for consumers. This is a part-time position working 10–25 hours per week depending on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one ABA treatment interventions in home and community settings
- Deliver small group treatment interventions as assigned
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA and Senior BCBA
- Follow individualized treatment plans and data collection protocols
- Collect and document accurate behavioral data during sessions
- Communicate progress and concerns with supervising BCBA and Senior BCBA
- Support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all client interactions
- Participate in required supervision and training activities
- Ensure client safety and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Preferred: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Completion of at least 40 hours of training as defined within the RBT Task List developed by the BACB (training provided)
- Completion of the RBT Competency Assessment upon completion of training and annually thereafter
- Successful completion of the RBT Examination administered through Pearson Professional Center sites

Pay
Starting at $21.50 per hour
Schedule
