About the role
As an ABA Technician, you will provide one-to-one or small group treatment interventions to consumers in home and/or community settings under the direction of the BCBA and Senior BCBA on your team. This is a part-time job working 10-25 hours per week depending on clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group treatment interventions to consumers in home and/or community settings under the direction of the BCBA and Senior BCBA on their team.
- Work 10-25 hours per week depending on clients.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Preferred qualifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA)
Qualifications
- Completed at least 40 hours of training as defined within the RBT Task List developed by the BACB
- Pass the RBT Competency Assessment upon completion of the 40 hours of training and annually thereafter
- Pass the RBT Examination administered through the Pearson Professional Center sites
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques
