About the Role
MeBe is a provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. Our mission is to empower families, professionals, and communities by educating and training them on evidence-based approaches. We offer play-filled, research-based care across multi-disciplines including OT, Speech, and ABA.
At MeBe, you’ll receive training and support to launch a career in Behavior Therapy. We invest in two weeks of paid training to prepare you to pass your RBT exam using the Vincent Carbone method. You’ll be paired with Supervisors for shadowing, guidance, and mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism at MeBe’s Learning Center
- Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills
- Relay progress updates to BCBAs and assist with assessments
- Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in the Central Reach data collection system
- Clock in/out, submit session notes, and adhere to ABA and insurance provider regulations
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workplace
- Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing
- Complete projects and tasks as directed by Site Director and Clinical Supervisors
- Voice questions, issues, and concerns to supervisors and co-own treatment planning
- Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries
- Positively contribute to MeBe’s culture
Requirements
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday (part-time shifts available)
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- RBT/CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of employment (MeBe provides support)
- Background in child care, teaching, counseling, or babysitting preferred
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (without reasonable accommodations)
- Ability to see with prescription lenses and hear with hearing aids
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Must pass a background check
- Basic computer skills
- If residing in CA, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics, Human Development, or Biology preferred
