Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism in their home or at MeBe’s Learning Center
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the child's communication, self-help, social and play skills
• Relay information on the child's progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments
• Accurately record the child's progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet
• Clock in, submit session notes and clock out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations
• Help keep the workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized
• Help children with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing
• Voice questions, issues and concerns to supervisors as appropriate
• Help build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries
• Positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture

Qualifications

• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday
• Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• RBT/CBT certification preferred
• Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment
• Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (without reasonable accommodations)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work with computers
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred
