Responsibilities
- Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism in their home or at MeBe’s Learning Center
- Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the child's communication, self-help, social and play skills
- Relay information on the child's progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments
- Accurately record the child's progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet
- Clock in, submit session notes and clock out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations
- Help keep the workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized
- Help children with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing
- Voice questions, issues and concerns to supervisors as appropriate
- Help build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries
- Positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture
Qualifications
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday
- Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- RBT/CBT certification preferred
- Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (without reasonable accommodations)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work with computers
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
