Behavior Technician

About the role

Lifelong Access is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy services to children aged 2-18. Services are provided in both home and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans for communication, social skills, and daily living skills
• Provide one-to-one ABA therapy sessions
• Work closely with clients and their families to achieve individualized goals
• Contribute to a supportive and positive team environment

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with delays or disabilities
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with a good driving record
• Current proof of automobile insurance

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Fine motor manipulation with children
• Manipulation of toys with children
• Converse with adults and children, some of whom may be difficult to understand
• Frequent lifting and moving up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
