About the role
Lifelong Access is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy services to children aged 2-18. Services are provided in both home and clinic settings.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans for communication, social skills, and daily living skills
- Provide one-to-one ABA therapy sessions
- Work closely with clients and their families to achieve individualized goals
- Contribute to a supportive and positive team environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with delays or disabilities
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with a good driving record
- Current proof of automobile insurance
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Fine motor manipulation with children
- Manipulation of toys with children
- Converse with adults and children, some of whom may be difficult to understand
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
