Behavior Technician

About the role

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles
• Monitor and record client progress towards treatment goals
• Collaborate with a team of therapists and parents to ensure consistent care
• Conduct assessments and gather data to inform treatment decisions
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops

Requirements

• At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• State-specific RBT requirements (see above)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with child development and behavior management preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism

• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
