Behavior Technician

About the role

I Am Boundless is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team. Boundless is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and has been serving Ohio for over 40 years.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise individuals in a residential therapeutic setting
• Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Support Plans tailored to each individual's needs
• Provide crisis intervention for behaviors such as self-injury, aggression, and high-magnitude disruptive behavior

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
• Licensure/Certification: First Aid, CPR - adult, child and infant; valid Ohio Driver’s License with proof of auto insurance
• No more than 5 points on driver’s license

Qualifications

• Three years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral health conditions
• Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis
• College degree in a related field preferred

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use necessary tools and equipment, including pushing/pulling wheelchairs and using Hoyer lifts
