About the role
At Illuminate, we provide personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) thrive. Our team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Supervisors, and Behavior Technicians who work closely with families to build skills, celebrate successes, and make a positive impact. We're seeking enthusiastic, energetic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians/RBTs.
Responsibilities
- Provide center, in-home, and community-based ABA therapy
- Track client progress during sessions
- Communicate effectively with clients and families
- Implement behavior intervention strategies
- Support clients in various environments, including homes, schools, and communities
- Ensure client safety and provide appropriate support
- Use technology to document and communicate with clients and families
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; candidates who are not currently certified must be willing and able to obtain RBT certification in accordance with company requirements and timelines
- Maintain open and flexible availability across multiple days and times throughout the week to support client scheduling needs, including daytime, after-school, and evening sessions as assigned
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive to client sessions
- Access and ability to use a smartphone or similar device with internet services capable of capturing client session data
Qualifications
- 6 months of recent experience as a Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, Special Education Aide, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Respite Worker, Youth Coach, Preschool Teacher, Teacher's Assistant, Childcare Provider, Nanny, Babysitter, Camp Counselor, Tutor, Substitute Teacher, Behavioral Health Technician, Interventionist, Social Services Worker, Foster Care Worker, Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Autism Advocate, Mental Health Advocate, After-School Program Staff, Childcare Volunteer, or in a similar role supporting children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Currently pursuing or have completed college coursework or a degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Child Development, Sociology, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field

Pay
- $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr (DOE)
Schedule
- We are open 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday-Friday
- Part-time employees work 15-25 hours per week
- Full-time employees work 30-40 hours per week
- Evening availability is required for full-time positions
- Comfortable working in home-based therapeutic settings is required for full-time positions
