Behavior Technician

We are seeking behavior techs and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home and community settings. This is an evening position with no earlier than a 3:00 PM start time.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans
• Collect skill acquisition and behavior reduction data
• Apply feedback and training on ABA job performance given by your BCBA
• Provide behavior support inside and outside of the home or community when applicable

Requirements

• For Children:
  • BA degree in a human health field (or similar) and one year of experience working with individuals with Autism, or
  • Associate’s degree in a human health field (or similar) and two years of experience working with individuals with Autism, or
  • High School diploma with RBT certification
• For Adults:
  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience working with individuals with Autism
• Desire to have a positive impact on others and grow in the field
• Active Driver’s License and car
• Ability to commute to Bridgeport, CT 06601 (preferred)
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Spanish language skills (preferred)

Pay

$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
