Behavior Technician
About the role
Aptitude Behavioral Services is growing and seeks dedicated professionals to join our clinical ABA team as Behavior Technicians. We empower neurodiverse learners through ethical, meaningful, and individualized care. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work alongside experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver high-quality ABA therapy that supports growth, independence, and confidence in every child we serve.
Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with children with different developmental needs.
- Teach skills and use Applied Behavior Analysis to shape behavior.
- Make a difference in the lives of children.
Requirements
- Physically able to work with children, including getting up and down from the floor, playing, and blocking behaviors.
- Upbeat, positive attitude.
- Great with organization and time management.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to recount daily activities via written communication.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new information, including following written plans created by a BCBA and utilizing online systems of data collection.
- A Registered Behavior Technician certification must be obtained within 45 days of hiring.
