About the role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Developmental Evaluation Specialist. This role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations to support families navigating developmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough developmental evaluations to identify areas of strength and need
- Collaborating with families to develop personalized support plans
- Providing ongoing feedback and guidance to families throughout the evaluation process
- Maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all clients
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience in conducting developmental evaluations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
While not required, candidates with experience working with neurodiverse populations will be given priority consideration.
Skills
- Excellent observational and assessment skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
