About the role

Acorn Health is an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatment provider focused on delivering high-quality care. We aim to set industry standards in integrity and quality, focusing on the unique needs of each child and collaborating closely with families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills, decrease problem behaviors, and strengthen behavioral supports
  • Work closely with the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and other team members to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
  • Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and make informed treatment decisions
  • Communicate regularly with parents, supervisors, and others to inform and improve treatment plans
  • Provide services to clients in various settings including centers, homes, schools, or other locations as clinically indicated
  • Schedule may include driving between clients

Requirements

  • One year of experience working with children (e.g., caregiver, paraprofessional, daycare)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, teaching, or a related field
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for helping others

Competitive hourly rate starting at $18/hour
