Behavior Support Specialist

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide Behavior Support services to families of children with severe emotional disturbances.
• Engage the child and family in weekly behavior skills training activities.
• Follow a strengths-based model to help develop and build skills for the child and family.
• Develop a Service Plan focusing on the child and family needs, addressing all identified behaviors.
• Assist the family in Case Management activities that benefit the youth and family.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related discipline.
• At least two years’ prior experience working in the behavioral health field.
