Behavior Support Specialist
About the role
Responsible for providing support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Duties include case management, counseling, and coordination of services.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Assess client needs and develop service plans
- Coordinate with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with children, youth, and families
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Current certification in Child Welfare or Social Work
- Experience with trauma-informed care and cultural competency
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations

Pay
$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend availability
