About the role
Provide compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavior support and daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior support plans to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Assist individuals in developing social skills and independence.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and plan interventions.
- Document observations and interventions in individualized care plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques.
