Behavior Specialist
About the role
Silence Aloud, Inc. is expanding and is seeking an Overnight Behavior Specialist for residents in our Search Light Center for Healing Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).
Responsibilities
- Utilize creative and evidence-based behavior interventions
- Implement behavior programs
- Collect and document behaviors
- Aid in improving, maintaining, or restoring functional skills
- Provide vocational rehabilitation skills training
- Counsel individuals and families regarding job issues
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field OR at least 60 units of completed college coursework in behavioral science
- At least two (2) years of experience working with at-risk and emotionally disturbed youth in residential, corrections, community, or school settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Experience in ABA, specifically DTT, PRT, and Verbal Behavior
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance
- Tuberculosis clearance and physical exam
- DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse criminal background clearance

Pay
Minimum Starting salary is $21 - $22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule
Ability to work weekends; attend staff training; treatment team meetings.
