About the role

The Behavior Lab Assistant/Bus Driver position at Shelby High School is responsible for providing support to students in the Behavior Lab and operating the school bus.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the Behavior Lab with behavioral interventions and classroom management.
• Operate the school bus safely and efficiently, ensuring the transportation of students to and from school.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• A valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Ability to operate a school bus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.

Pay

Schedule
