About the role
The Behavior Interventionist Technician will provide support in implementing behavior intervention plans for students with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Implementing behavior intervention plans as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assisting in the development and implementation of positive reinforcement strategies
- Observing and documenting student behavior to inform interventions
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to teachers and parents
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in a related field
- Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
