About the role

The Behavior Interventionist Technician will provide support in implementing behavior intervention plans for students with special needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of positive reinforcement strategies
  • Observing and documenting student behavior to inform interventions
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to teachers and parents

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
