Behavior Interventionist | School Center Program

About the role

We are interviewing and hiring for FULL TIME Behavior Interventionists for Long Beach School Center Based Programs. You will work in a school center based program in Long Beach, serving the Long Beach/ South Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of ABA techniques and strategies to work with clients in the school setting.
• Provide teaching of language and communication skills through behavior intervention/modification and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collect, record, and maintain data on each client's progress.
• Attend monthly clinic meetings.
• Receive ongoing training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Two years of direct ABA experience.

• Experience in any of the following fields is encouraged: Behavior Analyst, Autism, Psychology, Social Learning, Social Skills, Behavioral Health Technician, BCBA, Developmental Condition, Caregiver, Social Services, Children, ABA, Behavior Therapist, Direct Support Professionals, Behavioral Health, Behavior Specialist, Working with Children, Mental Health Specialist, ABA Therapist, Childcare, Teacher's aide, Preschool Teacher, Paraprofessional, Youth Program Coordinator, Sociology, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Babysitting, Camp Counselor.

Pay

Pay Range: $22.50 to 25.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
