Elementary School Behavior Interventionist

About the role

The successful candidate will support emotional regulation, social cognition, and academics for students at Milton Elementary School using restorative approaches and behavior intervention plans.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team employing restorative approaches in student behavior management
• Implement behavior intervention plans, collect and analyze data, and provide targeted interventions
• Collaborate with professionals including the behavior coach, special educators, guidance counselor, and classroom teachers
• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Qualifications

• Expertise in CPI, LSCI, or other verbal de-escalation techniques
• Experience with MTSS-B and implementing different tiers of behavior support
• Experience with social cognition/social thinking group facilitation

• $23.50 to $30.00 or more based on experience and education level

Schedule
