Elementary Behavior Interventionist

MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated educators to fill various K-12 teaching and administrative positions across Michigan. These roles support alternative certification pathways, helping professionals transition into impactful careers in education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to diverse student needs.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
• Support school initiatives, including extracurricular activities and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a related field (or equivalent experience for alternative certification candidates).
• Commitment to pursuing or holding Michigan teacher certification (or administrative certification for leadership roles).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to diverse classroom settings and student needs.
• Experience in education or a related field is preferred but not required for all positions.
