Behavior Interventionist (2026 - 2027 School Year)

Qualifications

  • Experience with implementing individual academic and behavior interventions
  • Knowledge of instructional intervention strategies and implementation
  • Personal skills necessary to communicate and coordinate interventions with parents, intervention team, and classroom teachers
  • High School diploma with passing score on WorkKeys test
  • Two year Associate Degree preferred

Performance Responsibilities

  • Observe individual students and classroom groups as requested by principal for the purpose of implementing interventions
  • Implement all phases of individual or group interventions as assigned by the principal
  • Complete progress monitoring and documenting of behavior changes and academic achievement
  • Completion of records and forms as assigned by principal
  • Communicate progress of students to intervention team chairman and students' classroom teachers
  • Attend meetings as needed
