About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Intervention Supervisor. In this entry-level leadership role, you’ll provide guidance to intervention staff and help coordinate services across our school-based programs. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their skills in supervision, collaboration, and applied behavior strategies while making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to clients in a clinic, school, and/or home setting.
- Learn specialized behavior approaches and implement behavioral strategies under the guidance of a case supervisor.
- Support clients using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Help to improve students' communication skills, social skills, play skills, motor skills, self-help skills, school readiness skills, and self-management skills.
- Maintain accurate records through daily documentation of student progress and adherence to prescribed behavior plan.
- Work collaboratively with the client’s parent, teacher, and other allied specialists to implement positive interventions.
- Schedule regular community visits with caregivers to review program effectiveness.
- Provide parent training and education as needed.
- Make observations, collect data, and chart progress.
- Cookordinate visits to overlap with members of the direct care team to observe sessions.
- Provide coaching and clinical support.
- Review data and reports submitted by the direct care team, and update individualized programs to assure programs reflect each child’s development and progress towards identified goals.
- Keep office personnel updated with pertinent documentations for each child.
- Communicate with caregivers, the program team, physicians and other health care providers, as appropriate.
- Complete Employee Evaluation and Employee Improvement Plan for each assigned supervisor(s) by their anniversary due date (Paycom).
- Auditing of all direct reports’ schedules for mandated breaks and correct service minutes being implemented.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- Strong background in applying principles of ABA
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with special needs
- Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
- A current TB Test
- Reliable transportation and hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
Qualifications
- Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
- Working with students on a variety of cognitive and developmental levels
- Engaging in behavior such as hitting self or others, biting, and scratching
Skills

Pay
SALARY RANGE: $28.50 -$31.98/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).
