About the role
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT). Our ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful connections with children and their families.
- Deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, focusing on communication, social skills, and daily living skills.
- Use positive reinforcement and no restraints to teach and encourage desired behaviors.
- Work directly under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized treatment plans.
- Record and track progress using data collection, celebrating every milestone.
- Collaborate with families and team members to provide consistent, compassionate care.
- Absenteeism: Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple work sites (clinic, schools, or homes).
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living and toileting.
- Provide constructive feedback to help clients achieve their best potential.
- Lift 50 lbs and move from sitting to standing position.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children (special education, Autism experience, Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus).
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a child or mental health-related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.

Pay and Schedule
$18.50 - $23.00 per hour, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with optional evening hours until 6:30 PM for social groups.
Schedule
No less than 30 hours per week, with optional additional hours for extra pay.
