About the role

At ChildServe, we're seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to expand our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program across Iowa. We're passionate about creating a supportive environment for our team to provide exceptional care to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and skill-based assessments.
  • Develop and monitor implementation of individualized treatment plans using evidence-based strategies.
  • Maintain progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Supervise BCBA candidates and direct care providers in treatment plan implementation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective techniques across all environments.
  • Advise and contribute to the development and growth of ChildServe’s Autism program.
  • Provide or collaborate on training within ChildServe and the community.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field and BCBA certification required.
  • Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

Qualifications
