Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (Part-Time)
About the role
We are seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our expanding ABA program in Iowa. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to children with autism and other developmental disabilities through a collaborative and compassionate approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and skill-based assessments.
- Develop and monitor implementation of individualized treatment plans using evidence-based strategies.
- Maintain progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Supervise BCBA candidates and direct care providers in treatment plan implementation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective techniques across all environments.
- Advise and contribute to the development of ChildServe’s Autism program.
- Train staff and families on treatment plans and standardized training curricula.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field and BCBA certification required.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, move within the work area, and perform frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and standing.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of the BACB’s Supervisor Training Curriculum preferred.
- Will consider those sitting for the BCBA exam in the next 6 months.
