Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of program and its activities.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of YMCA, State, and School guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure individual needs of children are met.
- Maintain positive relationships with staff, families, school personnel, and volunteers.
- Maintain an environment that ensures children, staff, and family safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that advance all areas of children’s development and learning, including social, emotional, intellectual, and physical competency.
- Conduct program in accordance with YMCA goals and principles of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Supervise and mentor group leaders and support staff.
- Support program growth and development.
- Ensure zero tolerance for abuse and actively participate in the protection of youth and teens.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
