Before and After School Site Director - Mid-County YMCA

About the Role

Support planning and coordination of the program and its activities while ensuring implementation and compliance with YMCA, State, and School guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the individual needs of children are met.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff, families, school personnel, and volunteers.
• Maintain an environment that ensures the safety and well-being of children, staff, and families.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that advance all areas of children’s development and learning, including social, emotional, intellectual, and physical competency.
• Conduct the program in accordance with YMCA goals and principles of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Supervise and mentor group leaders and support staff.
• Support program growth and development.
• Ensure zero tolerance for abuse and actively participate in the protection of youth and teens.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
