Before and After School Program Coordinator

About the role

Supporting children, families, and educators in a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and model best practices for less experienced teachers.
• Implement curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, engaging space for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to ensure quality care and education.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, community contacts, and licensing authorities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Preferred: state trainer approval, 2-3 years early childhood experience, bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage in active child-related tasks.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
