Before/After School Site Director- CDA certification/Master Teacher

Location: Jefferson Elementary School, 250 N Cockrel Ave, Norman, OK 73071

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• No weekends
• AM shift: 6:15 am – start of school/breakfast (optional)
• PM shift: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Active CDA Certification or Master Teacher Certification

You can meet the requirements for a Master Teacher/CDA Certification in one of the following ways:

• CDA Certification
• CCP Credential
• 12 credit hours in ECE/CD/SA through CECPD
• Oklahoma Certificate of Mastery
• 1050 hours of training and take the Master Teachers test (Must show proof of certificate)

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
