Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and actively support team efforts while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Prioritize guest interaction while completing studio tasks such as organizing products, ensuring stock availability, maintaining accurate pricing, cleaning testers, and updating merchandise displays.
• Encourage guests to explore beauty confidently by keeping the area clean, ensuring testers are available, and offering product samples.
• Participate in ongoing store training focused on new products, industry trends, guest engagement techniques, and business priorities to support continuous development and sales performance.
• Familiarize yourself with prestige product ingredients and benefits using training resources, product packaging, in-store marketing, and store tools.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, working safely and reporting hazards.
• Handle additional duties as needed based on business requirements.

Requirements

• Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, physically demanding role where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are key.
• Open to working a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• 12+ months of previous beauty retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interest and knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Work both independently and with a team, resolving guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Accurately handle mobile POS operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Climb up and down ladders and work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other environmental elements.
• Remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts, which may vary in length.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.50 USD per hour.
