BD & Growth, Air Force w/ TS/SCI (Director-Level)
Job Description
We are seeking a battle-tested Air Force Executive Leader to own, grow, and scale our Air Force portfolio. This role is designed for a senior professional with deep Air Force experience, trusted relationships across the Air Force ecosystem, and a proven ability to turn access into growth.
This leader will sit at the intersection of strategy, mission delivery, and business expansion / development, serving as:
- Director of Air Force portfolio growth
- Business Development / Growth Leadership
This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role with direct influence on company growth, client trust, and mission outcomes. This is not a caretaker position. This is a build-and-lead role for someone who wants to shape strategy, drive growth, and leave a lasting impact on Air Force mission success.
Key Responsibilities
- Air Force Portfolio Leadership & Growth
- Own the overall strategy, growth plan, and execution of the Air Force portfolio.
- Ability to be the BD / Account Executive for the Air Force Portfolio with your vast Air Force Network; leaning on your previous connections and leadership experience from past engagements.
- Leverage established Air Force relationships (uniformed, civilian, and industry) to expand footprint, influence, and revenue.
- Serve as a trusted executive partner to Air Force clients, anticipating needs and positioning the company ahead of demand.
- Identify, shape, and support new business opportunities, including capture strategy, client engagement, and solution framing.
- Represent the company with credibility and authority across Navy commands and partner organizations.
- Program Management & Delivery
- Serve as Portfolio/Program Manager for the Air Force initiatives.
- Ensure excellence across performance, schedule, budget, and mission delivery.
- Lead teams supporting logistics modernization, readiness analytics, sustainment innovation, and UAS capability integration.
- Ensure outcomes directly support Air Force mission priorities.
Required
- Current and Active DOD/DOW TS/SCI clearance
- Prior Air Force, Space Force, Aerospace experience - uniformed or civilian - with strong understanding of Air Force operations, culture, decision-making, and mission execution.
- Strong, current Air Force relationships with the credibility to operate at senior officers and executives.
- Prior experience as a Business Development or Account Executive within the Air Force community.
- Foundational to Expert knowledge of the Air Force Acquisition and Procurement process both traditional (FAR based) and non-traditional (OT / OTA’s) mechanisms.
- Ability to gain trust immediately with your knowledge and reputation gained throughout your civilian and/or military career as trusted leader.
- Proven success managing complex Air Force programs or major logistics initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development or logistics transformation.
- Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and engage effectively at senior Air Force levels.
- Willingness to travel to Air Force sites as required.
Preferred
- Former senior Air Force officer or Senior Air Force civilian (Growth Focused).
- Directly supported the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) with a deep network of trusted leaders.
- Experience leading industrial base modernization initiatives.
- Balanced strength as strategist and operator.
