Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the clinical quality of assigned social skills groups; maintain group capacity.
• Provide caregiver training and supervision of direct reports.
• Act as a liaison between the organization, families, community, and healthcare providers to ensure a clear workflow of referral, screening, intervention, and transition of all participants receiving social skills services.
• Monitor the productivity of direct reports and maintain productivity standards as set forth by the agency.
• Create regional inquiry lists of potential social skills participants.
• Maintain trial exposures for participants to ensure group capacity of all assigned groups.
• Manage attendance compliance of a minimum of 80% across all groups assigned.
• Oversee the trial exposure process for all participants and associates.
• Monitor accurate billing of direct reports across assigned social skills groups.
• Create initial treatment plans, generate progress reports, and term reports for all social skills participants.
• Lead caregiver training activities, ensuring caregiver involvement and accomplishment of caregiver goals within the authorized period of service.
• Connect families with community resources and agencies serving children and adults, as needed.
• Lead a team of Social Skills associates; analyze data collected by the team and guide treatment decisions; initiate lesson plans for assigned groups; conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing direction.
• Manage parent inquiries and report parent concerns to the Manager.
• Address associate inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain safety regulations across all Easterseals Center Sites and report safety violations to the Manager.
• Conduct assessments and provide supervision to Social Skills associates and participants to meet monthly productivity requirements.
• Maintain materials for Social Skills Group, restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage social skills administrative work tasks (creating materials, inputting data, purging data, etc.) of assigned team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education/development, early childhood special education, special education, psychology, or related field.
• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing, or Marriage Family Therapist (MFT), or licensed psychologist.
• 3 years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• 1-2 years of management experience.
• For specific locations: 1-2 years of experience in delivery of telehealth treatment and 1-2 years of experience working with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting.

Skills

• Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of scientifically-validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches beneficial to children with ASD; familiar with current related research findings.
• Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
• Effective communication through oral and written skills, and ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Relate well to adults, children, and their families while maintaining a positive affect.
• Exercise discretion, good judgment, and maintain confidentiality for sensitive situations and documentation.
• Pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test.
• Provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity (a signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations).
• Maintain a driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• Obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals of Southern California and/or program requirements.

Pay

Starting salary $78,000 per year.
