Lumiere Children's Therapy is a fast-growing pediatric therapy group in Chicago, seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary team. We provide a competitive salary, supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Summary

The primary function of the BCBA is to plan, develop, and monitor behavior interventions for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other behavioral/social challenges. They also provide supervision and training to ABA therapists and other team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision for ABA Therapists or Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs)
  • Indirect supervision for individuals accruing hours for BCBA or BCaBA fieldwork

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Use assessment tools and data to develop and implement individualized behavior analytic treatment plans
  • Monitor and modify treatment plans based on observations, feedback, and data
  • Maintain and organize records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with contracts, standards, and insurance requirements
  • Coordinate with families and recruit/train/retain ABA therapists and RBTs
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Facilitate positive public relations and collaborate with other agencies
  • Participate in professional development activities

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in ABA, special education, psychology, or related field, with specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Minimum of three years of recent experience working with individuals with ASD
  • Knowledge of autism assessment tools and procedures
  • Experience in developing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and Discrete Trial Teaching

Physical Requirements

The position requires effective teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications. Travel may be necessary to remote locations.
