About the role
Damar is seeking Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to join our ABA Program Manager team. The Program Manager is responsible for developing treatment plans, clinical oversight, supervising RBTs, analyzing client data, and adjusting treatment plans and training materials.
Responsibilities
- Provide proper supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Regularly analyze client data and adjust treatment plans and training materials as needed
- Serve as a leader in the clinic by attending meetings, providing additional training, delivering feedback, etc.
- Responsible for providing 5% supervision to RBTs on assigned team
- Completes RBT performance checklists as assigned
- May be required to provide RBT continuing education or competency assessments
- May be required to meet with caregivers before or after hours
- Seeks the best use of materials, equipment, and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Effectively uses time management to manage caseload and work assignments
- Provides ABA program management to clients in a clinic, home, school, and/or community setting
- Uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and current research to make decisions
- Remains knowledgeable of each assigned client’s ABA program and its progress and adjusts the treatment plan when sufficient progress has been made or a lack of progress is seen
- Reviews client assessments, treatment plans, behavior plans, and other protocols at a minimum of every 6 months and makes revisions as needed
- Follows the direction of the Program Director regarding each client’s profile
- Acts as a resource for ABA therapists, providing immediate feedback following observation and completing performance checklists
- Maintains a caseload of 30 hours per week
- Maintains high authorization utilization of assigned caseload
- May provide direct therapy to children in a clinic, home, school, and/or community setting
- Responds to a crisis appropriately and assists others as necessary
Requirements
- Master’s Degree and BCBA
- Minimum 2 years’ previous experience with autism spectrum disorders required with a minimum of 18 months of autism experience in an ABA setting
- Minimum 1 year experience as a BCBA
- Indiana Behavior Analyst License
- Ability to pass and maintain Critical Moments Training (CMT) Certification
- Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
