School Based BCBA

About the role

Neshaminy School District, in partnership with the Devereux Center for Effective Schools, is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for 3 elementary autistic support classrooms in grades K-3. This leadership role will be charged with helping to create a new program and instilling best practices for their students that require high levels of support.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom consultation on behavior supports and classroom management
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop positive behavior support plans
• Deliver staff and family training
• Support program development and data-based decision making
• Coach staff and ensure fidelity of behavior plans
• Provide supervision to registered behavior technicians and instructional assistants

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or related field required.
• BCBA certification, or eligible within 90 days.
• Relevant behavioral experience.
• Experience with students on the spectrum required.
