BCBA/ Behavior Analyst

About the role

Join our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team at our CARES school in Downingtown, PA. As a BCBA, you will be directly involved in the completion of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Positive Behavior Supports Plans (PBSPs) on children with Behavioral and Emotional Support needs. You will also have the opportunity to train staff teams and, as much as possible, parents on the implementation of PBSP and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Completion of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Positive Behavior Supports Plans (PBSPs)
• Training staff teams and parents on the implementation of PBSP and data collection
• Providing regular training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) concepts and principles for all staff

Requirements

• Masters' or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education or related field
• Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D) preferred
• Prior experience working with students with special needs
• Prior experience writing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Supports Plans (PBSPs)

Qualifications

• Educational background in psychology, special education or related field
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Experience in writing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Supports Plans (PBSPs)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$85,000 - $96,900 for BCBA / $49,500 - $56,430 for BA Education
