Job Summary

Devereux Day Academy–Laguna Hills seeks a Part-Time BCaBA to support students with disabilities. Supervision by BCBA provided. This is a 12-month position, 24-hours/week, reporting to the Special Education Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters’ or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education or related field
• Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCaBA, BCBA or BCBA-D) required
• Prior experience working with students with special needs required
• Prior experience working with students with autism preferred
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing and evaluating Positive Behavior Support Plans across settings
• Strong ABA skills with experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviors
• Ability to provide staff and family training, behavioral consultation, and performance management
• Experience with behavioral supervision, including BCBA supervision as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection/analysis platforms
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver’s license required
