Responsibilities
- Protect adjacent rooms from dust and debris
- Demolish and remove existing bathroom fixtures, tile, and finishes
- Inspect and repair framing as needed
- Install plumbing rough-in (supply lines, drains, vents)
- Install electrical rough-in (outlets, switches, lighting, GFCI)
- Install cement backer board for tile surfaces
- Apply waterproofing membrane to shower/tub and wet areas
- Install tile (floor, walls, shower/tub surround, backsplash)
- Install new vanity and countertop
- Install shower/tub unit (replacement or new)
- Install finish plumbing (faucets, showerheads, toilet, sink)
- Install finish electrical (fixtures, exhaust fan, lighting)
- Install accessories (towel bars, mirrors, shelving, toilet paper holder)
- Paint walls and ceiling
- Apply caulk to seams and edges
- Perform final inspection and quality check
