About the role

This position supports groomers by managing pet flow within the salon, focusing on high-quality bathing services and ensuring the safety and comfort of every pet.

Responsibilities

- Maintain regular and predictable attendance - Work scheduled shifts and be flexible to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed - Take initiative to support selling initiatives (TEAM): - Thank the Customer - Engage the Customer and/or Pet - Advise products or services - Make it Memorable - Perform a combination of duties throughout the day, including: - Safe Pet Handling - Bathing, Drying, Brushing and Combing all coat types - Nail Trimming - Ear Cleaning - Customer Service Skills - Demonstrate Professionalism - Equipment Handling and Maintenance - Ensure the safety and well-being of animals - Inspect animals for external signs of parasites, disease or injury and report findings - Practice Safety and Sanitization protocols - Sanitize and maintain grooming tools and equipment - Support appointment scheduling, phone calls, and customer follow-up - Maintain records of all pet clients

Qualifications

Experience: Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, demonstrating patience and compassion for animals, and confidence in pet handling. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
