About the role

This position supports groomers by managing pet flow within the salon, focusing on high-quality bathing services and ensuring the safety and comfort of every pet.

Responsibilities

- Maintain regular and predictable attendance - Work scheduled shifts and be flexible to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed - Take initiative to support selling initiatives (TEAM): - Thank the Customer - Engage the Customer and/or Pet - Advise products or services - Make it Memorable - Perform a combination of duties throughout the day, including: - Safe Pet Handling - Bathing, Drying, Brushing, and Combing all coat types - Nail Trimming - Ear Cleaning - Customer Service Skills - Demonstrate Professionalism - Equipment Handling and Maintenance - Ensure the safety and well-being of animals - Inspect animals for external signs of parasites, disease, or injury and report findings - Practice Safety and Sanitization protocols - Sanitize and maintain grooming tools and equipment - Support appointment scheduling, phone calls, and customer follow-up as needed - Maintain records of all pet clients

Qualifications

Experience: Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, demonstrating patience and compassion for animals, and confidence in pet handling. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with any suitable combination of education and experience considered.
