Batching Stager

About the role

The Batching Stager is responsible for preparing and processing batches while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and compliance with all applicable food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Blend batches per the run scheduled/order.
• Pasteurization process (up to 3 systems simultaneously, CIP and cleaning of equipment)
• Data entry into Redzone Data entry into the Ross System
• Keep accurate records, track of ingredients and batch sheets
• Effectively communicate issues and operations with Plant Management.
• Aid Shift Lead and Supervisor as assigned.
• Operate the plant in a safe & efficient manner.
• Follow and monitor GMP, HACCP guidelines, Injury & Illness Prevention Program, Food Safety & SOPs procedures.
• Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all supervisors, leads, employees, and management.
• Aid maintenance on PM’s of equipment, rebuild of valves, replace valve gaskets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years in any type of processing industry
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend over, climb stairs and ladders and lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, multi task and time management
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure
• Must be able to follow and communicate directions

Qualifications

• Prefered Qualifications Mechanical Aptitude Forklift Certification
• Primary shift will be assigned however applicant must be flexible to work any shift.
• Preference will be given to individuals that processes high energy, proven positive track record and those that are already trained to run the various pieces of equipment.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a must. Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs and Redzone application

Pay

The expected hourly rate for this position is between $21.00 - $26.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule.
