About the Role
The Batch Operator Lead is responsible for leading the team in blending powders and liquids in the Batch Room area. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, including wearing proper personal protective equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in blending batches of liquids and powders following batch work orders.
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met throughout the tank farm area.
- Supervise Batch Operators, ensuring safe handling of chemicals.
- Pull and organize materials necessary to produce finished good batches.
- Train and develop Batch Operators.
- Perform inventory transactions in SYSPRO to ensure accurate chemical allocation and inventory tracking.
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse as needed.

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting; leadership experience a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds.
