Batch Record Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Review and organize all regulatory manufacturing records within one business day to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and resolve Good Documentation Practice (GDP) issues, partnering with production supervision to drive timely corrections and support SOP-related training/retraining.
- Audit production records for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining a constant state of audit readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production Planning, Operations, R&D, and QA to support manufacturing and documentation processes.
- Investigate batch record discrepancies through root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions and documenting findings.
- Maintain accountability for production and labeling records, ensuring completeness (MBRs, PBRs, process charts) and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Execute SAP transactions (e.g., production release, batch code assignment) and partner with QA for timely release of completed batch records.
- Support operational readiness by assisting with record retention, new hire onboarding packets, and annual operator training requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications, with the ability to learn customized software systems (Optiva preferred; SAP desired).
- Complete Better Process Control School certification within 90 days of hire (or already completed).
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing documentation in regulated environments, with emphasis on ESC processes preferred.
- Demonstrates high personal accountability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow through on tasks independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail in proofreading and data entry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting production and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working in regulated industries, including exposure to audits (e.g., FDA, TGA), cross-functional teamwork, and document management systems.

Pay
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
