About the role
The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is seeking part‑time sports enthusiasts for a Basketball Specialist position. Candidates should have played or refereed basketball before.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement safe and enjoyable basketball clinics.
- Be available to work weekday evenings and weekends to facilitate practices, games, and clinics.
- Create lesson plans for youth ages 4‑11.
- Set up and clean up materials.
- Provide leadership to other basketball staff.
Requirements
- Must have basketball experience.
Qualifications
- Know the rules of basketball.
- Work well with young people.
- Ability to multitask.
- Communicate effectively with parents and children.
