Bartender - The Yacht Club

About the Role

The Yacht Club is the signature fine dining seafood restaurant at Hotel Trinity, Autograph Collection—Austin's newest luxury boutique hotel, opening late 2026 in the heart of downtown Austin. As the only Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in the city center, Hotel Trinity will offer a refined yet approachable take on coastal cuisine, featuring high-quality fresh seafood, an oyster bar, steakhouse offerings, and an elevated wine and beverage program. We are seeking experienced restaurant bartenders to join the opening and ongoing operations of The Yacht Club, a rare opportunity to be part of a ground-up fine-dining concept in one of Austin's most exciting new hospitality venues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests, building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes—confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods—cash, card, and digital—and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Lunch and Dinner shifts available.

Requirements

• An outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Sharp attention to detail—from cocktail presentation to guest satisfaction
• A positive, can-do attitude and team-player mindset
• Previous bartending experience preferred (hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus); willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler and TABC Certifications required
