Bartender - The Tides Beach Club

About the role

Join the team at The Tides Beach Club, one of Kennebunkport’s most iconic seaside destinations. We’re searching for an enthusiastic and service-driven Bartender to bring energy, professionalism, and craft cocktail skills to our beachfront bar.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Must know how to prioritize, delegate and respond in a timely fashion
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
• Can speak candidly and knowledgeably about KRC programming and offerings
• Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
• Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
• Continually strives for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
• Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
• Personalize the guest experience when possible; remember your guest and their requests
• Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints
• Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
• Engage in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
• Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
• Must be a good example while working alongside team members
• Be able to communicate restaurant and hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of bar service and food preparation
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
